Position Summary:

  • This is a full-time exempt position. Human Resource Generalist will support and assist the HR Department with human resource policies, procedures, and programs in the following areas: recruiting, hiring, employee onboarding and orientation, HRIS data entry, employment benefits, employee relations, employee status changes, training and development, tracking and reporting FMLA, ADA, Worker’s compensation, Affirmative Action and EEO compliance.

 

Training and Education:

  • Minimum of two years’ HR Generalist experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • HR Generalist experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • PHR/SPHR or other related professional certifications desired.

 

 Experience:

  • 2+ years HR Generalist experience in employment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits, HRIS, training and development.
  • Payroll processing experience strongly preferred but not required.

 

Skills:

  • Attention to detail, basic computer skills, team player, motivated and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Remain calm in stressful situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to present to an audience.
  • Requires decision making skills.
  • Time/project management skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and good judgment required.
  • Willing to perform project work and other duties as assigned.
