Full-Time Regulated Products

Position Summary:

  • This is a full time non-exempt position. The Research Associate I will join a team dedicated to performance evaluation and validation of the company’s molecular diagnostic pathogen identification products. This position is part of a team performing validation testing (including clinical specimen testing) in support of regulatory submissions for diagnostic devices for infectious diseases. This position will require the candidate to perform general lab duties, design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, communicate results (written and oral) to others in the group and keep an accurate record of all work done in accordance with the quality system. Position normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments, and requires some problem solving skills, This person works closely with other research associates in the research lab and will report to a scientist.

Training and Education:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology or other scientific discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Must demonstrate skills in basic laboratory technician practices (pipetting, materials handling, contamination control).


  • 0 to 2 years of laboratory experience with demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.
  • Must be able to safely lift and maneuver 40 lbs.
