Position Summary:

  • Project Coordinator I serves to support the management of new and existing software and/or engineering programs and products at BioFire Defense. Technical Project Coordinators are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of FDA/ISO regulated Medical Devices, and associated technologies and processes. Responsibilities include contribution to project plan execution and documentation, oversite of project resources, project timelines, and deliverables
  • Technical Project Coordinators are expected to collaborate with development team(s), project managers, and operations teams to facilitate the development and implementation of design documentation and procedures according to internal Standard Operating Procedures and applicable FDA and ISO 9001/13485 regulations.

 

Training and Education:

  • Associates degree in engineering, computer science, biotechnology or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with SolidWorks is preferred.
  • Ability to write basic code is a plus
  • cGMP compliance experience is preferred.

 

 Experience:

  • 1+ years in mechanical or industrial engineering field preferred.
  • Medical Device or Engineering product development experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiar with Quality Management System requirements and FDA/ISO regulations.
